After spending five years in emergency services operations, Paul joined Biggs in 1983 and became a partner in 1988. Throughout the past 27 years he has served in various sales and management roles and is currently the Executive Vice President of Commercial Insurance and a member of the Board of Directors.
In 1990 Paul received the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor; a professional designation earned through continuing education, examination, and practical experience in all major areas of the insurance field and is a graduate of the Aetna Commercial School. Paul is an active member of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors, a member of the Professional Insurance Agents, and has served on a number of insurance company advisory boards and committees.
Paul is a lifelong resident of Vancouver where he and his wife Debbie have raised three children. In addition to spending time with family, Paul enjoys boating and photography.
