Rich is a Vice President and business insurance account executive with Biggs Insurance. After graduating from Washington State University in 1990, Rich joined Aetna Property and Casualty in Seattle as a commercial insurance underwriter. He left Aetna in 1993 to join Valley Insurance Company as a Senior Marketing Representative. His primary functions at Valley were to appoint and train independent agents in Washington and Northern Idaho, focusing on growth and profitability.
Rich joined Biggs Insurance in 2000 as a business insurance agent and has since become a partner in the agency. Rich is active in the insurance industry, serving on the Board of Directors of the Professional Insurance Agents of WA/AK as Past President and current State National Director.
His activities also include coaching youth baseball and basketball, Rotary, Vancouver School District Foundation board member, board member of the Clark County Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame, and a board member and past president of the Washington State University Risk Management & Insurance Advisory Board.
