Every month we highlight one of our local and awesome staff members.
We are pleased to introduce Dave Anzellotti…
If you were stranded on a deserted island, what is the one thing you couldn’t live without?
I watch a lot of survivor shows, so I am pretty sure I would need fresh water. However, if I already had that, I would want my I phone so I could e-mail, text, play games, use as a flashlight and of course surf the net for tips and tricks to surviving on a deserted island.
You won the lottery! First purchase?
Probably another lottery ticket and a bottle of champagne to celebrate. (I would probably be at the minimart checking my ticket, so it would seem to make sense.) The first big purchase would probably be a pretty awesome vacation for friends and family.
Where is your dream destination?
Living in the Northwest, we are sometimes deprived of sun and surf. (or at least warm surf and tropical sun) For those reasons and a few others, my dream destination is always the island of Maui.
Where is your favorite place to be?
Spending time with my family. The preferred location would be Maui (see above)
What is your guilty pleasure?
Pizza…there isn’t even a close second.
Tell us about your proudest moment.
I don’t have one single event in my life that can rank above my kids. My proudest moment is the ability to watch my 3 boys grow up to be compassionate people, enjoying school, having a love of sports and an excitement for life.
What does success look like to you?
Success to me is simply “reaching goals through hard work.” There is no greater feeling of success than setting a goal, working hard to reach it, then achieving success when those goals are met.
What is your favorite Biggs story?
I have heard or been a part of so many stories over the year so this is a tough question. However, I do love hearing about the history of Biggs. The agency has been around for over 80 years, so there is a vast amount of history, pictures and myths that float around the office. Over the 13 years that I have been with the agency, I have heard so many great stories. Some are too funny to share and others are signs that the world evolves significantly as time goes on. I just hope the stories I create at my time at Biggs Insurance will leave future generations with something great to talk or laugh about.
What is your personal philosophy?
Work hard, play hard, be kind and follow through.
Tell us two truths and a lie about yourself.
(Which is the lie?!)
If you had a superpower, what would it be?
I believe I already have “Super Strength” so my next choice would be the ability to fly. This would cut my commuting time in half and probably fix my fear of heights.
