Every month we like to introduce one of our staff members so you can get to know them better. This month, our Commercial Agent of 21 years Scott told us about his passion for deep sea fishing, his beloved labs, and his idea of success.

You won the lottery! What’s your first purchase?

I would pay off everyone’s home in my family.

Share one thing you love to do that you always strive to include in your daily routine.

Playing with my two black labs.

What are some of your favorite hobbies or activities?

I love deep sea fishing – the anticipation of not knowing what you’re pulling up from the ocean bottom.

Tell us about one of your most memorable experiences.

Winning a National Championship in football my senior year of college.

What is your favorite Biggs story?

The people that helped me and my employment at Biggs Insurance. I often think of how something that seemed so minor 21 years ago would made such a huge impact on my life.

Scott’s labs Lilly and Koda!

Is your favorite season spring, summer, winter, or fall – and why?

Summer. Sometimes you just need a break from the rain.

If you were stranded on a deserted island, what is the one thing you couldn’t live without?

A fishing pole.

What does success look like to you?

A group of people working in the same direction toward the same goal and achieving it.

What was your first job?

Grounds crew at Clark PUD. I mowed the lawns at the substations, operations, and downtown locations.

If you had a superpower, what would it be?

To see the future.

What’s one challenge you’ve faced in life that you’re proud to have overcome?

Beating cancer.
